In order to participate in The Top 50, please email me a list of your favorite songs. To guard against viruses, please do not send your list as an attachment. If it comes as an attachment, I may delete the email without opening it. Please type your entry in the body of the email with the song first followed by a hyphen then the artist.

Please do not feel obligated to submit a top 50 list of your own. A lot of people have asked if it is OK to give a list of only 10 to 20. That is fine. Your list will be posted just like everyone else's, and the songs will have the same weight. The idea of the Top 50 is a compilation of everyone's list. This should not be stressful. Please have fun doing it.

I collect all the data and weigh the individual songs based on where it is in your list. For example, your number one song will get 50 points, number two will get 49, etc. Everyone who submits a list will have their list posted on an individual page.

There is also a page with every song submitted in rank order. Hopefully, this will be a great way for you to discover music or just see how your taste compares to everyone else. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
